Fonciq AI connector for the Québec land registry

The Fonciq MCP server is an AI connector for Québec land registry workflows: index and deeds as PDFs, bulk jobs, lot watches, and free flood-zone lookup. It uses the Fonciq API v1 with your own key. Fonciq is not affiliated with the MRNF or the Québec land registry.

Questions fréquentes

Réponses courtes.

What is an MCP connector for the Québec land registry?
It is a remote Model Context Protocol server with tools your AI agent can call. Fonciq exposes index, deeds, and plans with the same pricing as the HTTP API. The Québec land registry does not publish an MCP connector; Fonciq’s is a Fonciq service.
How do I connect Claude or Cursor?
Add https://mcp.fonciq.ca/v1/ as a remote HTTP MCP server. flood_zones_lookup is free with no key. Other tools need Authorization: Bearer fq_test_… or fq_live_…. See https://mcp.fonciq.ca.
Is ChatGPT supported?
Coming soon. ChatGPT connectors require OAuth, which is in progress. Until then, use Claude, Cursor, or Codex with a Fonciq API key.
How much do MCP tools cost?
Same as the HTTP API: 0,99 $ excluant frais du registre per document on a live key, plus 1,50 $ to the Registre when consulted. Lot reads and watch creation: 0 $. fq_test_ keys are not billed.
